US election 2016: The paraphernalia of politics

The National Museum of American History in Washington DC has a new exhibit called Hooray for Politics.

It looks at the early days of voting, complete with antique ballot boxes and automated voting machines. But it also has a unique twist on this year's election, and the candidates who fail to make the grade.

The BBC spoke to the curator to learn more.
