Tim Pigott-Smith on starring in Educating Rita

From The Jewel in the Crown and Dr Who to Quantum of Solace and Alice In Wonderland, actor Tim Pigott-Smith has enjoyed huge success over the years on both TV and in films.

Last year he starred on stage in the smash hit West End production of Enron.

Now he has taken on another larger than life character, this time as Dr. Frank Bryant in a stage production of Willy Russell's Educating Rita at Trafalgar Studios in London.

He spoke to BBC Breakfast, external about working with Willy Russell, the enduring appeal of Educating Rita and facing his toughest critics - children.
