New drama revisits the film This Is England

A new TV series is to revisit the characters from the Bafta-winning film This Is England.

Actor Thomas Turgoose as Shaun, and Jo Hartley as mum Cynthia, appear in This Is England '86, a four-part drama starting on Channel 4 on September 7.

The series picks up three years on from the 2006 film by director Shane Meadows, which centred on a troubled boy who was befriended by a gang of skinheads.
