Arlene Phillips on choreographing Flashdance

The 80's movie Flashdance has now been adapted for the stage. It's the story of a girl from a poor part of town who who wants to dance her way to a better life.

The new production, in London's West End, includes iconic dance routines from the film and specially written material, with choreography by Arlene Phillips who described her work to BBC Breakfast.
