Stars help raise £18m for BBC's Children in Need

Take That, Cheryl Cole and a host of other celebrities have helped raise millions during the BBC's Children in Need TV appeal.

Many stars took part in this year's seven-hour telethon, hosted by Terry Wogan and Tess Daley, which raises money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

The show saw a host of fundraising efforts including newsreaders performing Lady Gaga, the Dragons Den crew taking part in Come Dine With Me, and Blue Peter's adventure girl Helen Skelton making her debut as Baby from the film Dirty Dancing.

And the casts of EastEnders and Coronation Street swapped locations for a special episode.
