BBC Sound of 2011: Clare Maguire

Sound of 2011 is the latest in the BBC's annual rundown of the most exciting rising stars in music. The list was compiled using recommendations from more than 160 influential UK tastemakers, who were asked to name their favourite new acts.

This week we are counting down the top five acts, with the Sound of 2011 winner being announced on Friday.

Clare Maguire is a Birmingham chanteuse with a hotly-anticipated debut album due in February.
