60th Anniversary shock departure for The Archers

Fans of The Archers had long been promised a memorable story line to mark the show's 60th anniversary that would "shake Ambridge to the core".

And last night listeners learnt of the tragic death of Nigel Pargetter who fell from the roof of his stately home at Lower Loxley bringing to an end the role that actor Graham Seed has enjoyed for 30 years.

Graham joins BBC Breakfast to tell us about his sad departure and what a shock it was for him finding out his fate.
