Michael Jackson's doctor Murray in preliminary hearing
A preliminary hearing has opened in Los Angeles to determine whether the doctor who treated the pop star Michael Jackson in his final days should stand trial for manslaughter.
The prosecution has been presenting details of Michael Jackson's death and they claim Dr Conrad Murray waited up to 20 minutes before phoning paramedics for help.
The BBC's Rajesh Mirchandani says prosecutors allege Dr Murray's negligence while treating the singer for insomnia led to his death aged 50 in June 2009.
Conrad Murray's lawyers say he did not give Michael Jackson anything that would have killed him.
