Dennis the Menace at 60 - the changing face of comics

It is 60 years since Dennis the Menace first appeared in the Beano, making it the longest running strip in the comic.

The Beano comic has been published since 1938. Dennis the Menace first appeared in issue 452 in March 1951 and has been redesigned several times since.

The BBC's Nick Higham spoke to Anita O'Brien at The Cartoon Museum about how comics have changed, and to 10-year-old comic artist Zoom Rockman, who believes "every comic's got a Dennis the Menace".
