Britain's Got Talent: Jai McDowall wins

Jai McDowall has won ITV's Britain's Got Talent, pocketing £100,000 and a place in this year's Royal Variety Performance.

The 24-year-old support worker from Ayrshire beat bookie's favourite Ronan Parke in a shock result.

Judges Simon Cowell, Michael McIntyre, Amanda Holden and David Hasselhoff watched their performances but it came down to a public vote.
