Religious relics on display at the British Museum
A new exhibition at the British Museum is displaying religious relics including fragments of the Cross and three thorns thought to be from Jesus Christs's Crown of Thorns.
The head of the Catholic Chuch in England and Wales, Archbishop Vincent Nichols said the items have been objects of veneration for centuries.
The pieces are part of the exhibition called Treasures of Heaven: Saints, relic and devotion in Medieval Europe.
The BBC's Arts correspondent David Sillito and curator James Robinson took a closer look at the collection.
