Queen honoured with global icon award at MTV Awards

Queen received the global icon award at the MTV Europe Music Awards, with band members Brian May and Roger Taylor picking up their honour on the night.

Adam Lambert, who joined the band to close show in Belfast, said it was an honour to be asked to perform.

Taylor told the BBC's Lizo Mzimba's he was "delighted" to be still performing.
