Meet the Author: Robin Harris

Robin Harris, the writer of "The Conservatives - A History", has claimed the Conservative party is in rebellion.

He told the BBC's Nick Higham that MPs' response to the European referendum issue amounts to one of the worst rebellions the party has ever faced. He added that David Cameron needed to be "more careful".

Dr Harris was a member of the inner circle of the former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
