Sculptor Martin Boyce wins this year's Turner Prize
Glasgow-based sculptor Martin Boyce has won this year's Turner Prize.
Photographer Mario Testino presented Boyce with the £25,000 cheque at the Baltic gallery in Gateshead.
It is the first time the ceremony has been held outside a Tate venue.
The 44-year-old won the prize for his distinctive sculptural installations which seek to create an urban landscape within the confines of the gallery space.
