A David Bowie TOTP video thought lost has been found

The footage of David Bowie performing his number two hit Jean Genie on Top of the Pops in 1973 will be shown on the show's Christmas special on Wednesday.

Former cameraman John Henshall, 69, had it all this time and only recently realised the BBC did not have a copy.

He told Radio 5 live Breakfast how it came to light that he owned it.
