Producer responds to claim Iron Lady made at wrong time
The producer of The Iron Lady has responded to the Prime Minister's call last week that he wants funding to be given to "commercially successful pictures".
Damian Jones who worked with Golden Globe winner Meryl Streep on her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher said a film can be successful when it becomes a "cultural phenomenon", not just when it makes lots of money.
Speaking to Radio 5 live Breakfast, he also rejected Mr Cameron's claim that the film was made at the wrong time.
