Oscars 2012: Best picture nominees

Nine films have been nominated in the best picture category for the 84th Academy Awards.

War Horse, Moneyball, The Artist, The Descendants, Tree of Life, Midnight in Paris, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Help and Hugo will battle for the title at the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles on 26 February.
