Joanna Trollope on difficulties facing military families

Joanna Trollope says she is re-visiting familiar territory in her new novel which explores the difficulties faced in military families.

The author spent time with military families as part of her research for the novel.

She told BBC Breakfast The Soldier's Wife it is not an "anti Amry book" but rather a look at how servicemen make the transition back into family life after serving at war.
