Labrinth track 'not about UK riots'

Songwriter and producer Labrinth has admitted there was "pressure" to change the title of one of his songs, Sweet Riot, on his new album after the summer riots in the UK last year.

The musician told Mark Lawson on Radio 4's Front Row that the track is "harmless" and not about the real-life event.

He said: "I wrote it way before that event. I don't respect that event at all."

The 23-year-old Londoner is signed with Simon Cowell's label, Syco, and known for working as a producer and feature performer with rapper Tinie Tempah on tracks including the number one hit Pass Out.
