Wallace and Gromit Proms debut

The programme for the 118th Proms season will include performances inspired by the Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The organisers have promised "something for everyone" with the animation characters Wallace and Gromit and the Radio Four favourite, Desert Island Discs, also being celebrated.
