South Downs and The Browning Version open in London
A double bill of Sir David Hare's South Downs and Terence Rattigan's play, The Browning Version, has opened in London after transferring from Chichester Festival Theatre.
South Downs, which stars Anna Chancellor and Nicholas Farrell, is Hare's response to the one-act Rattigan piece which is set in a public school.
Hare said his play, which also takes place in a public school, is "not directly autobiographical" but he identifies with the schoolboys in the story.
BBC News spoke to Hare and cast members Anna Chancellor, Nicholas Farrell, Alex Lawther and Jonathan Bailey about the production.
