Damon Albarn performs O Spirit, Animate Us from Dr Dee

The London Olympic Games promises to be about more than sport and Damon Albarn will be performing his latest album, Dr Dee, at the English National Opera as part of the Cultural Olympiad.

The album is a "dramatic song cycle" of Elizabethan-style works, according to Albarn.

Blur, Albarn's former band, will also reform to play new material at the close of the Games.
