Harvey Weinstein wants talk on movie violence

Harvey Weinstein, producer of films such as Pulp Fiction and Shakespeare in Love, has said he would like to hold a seminar with directors such as Quentin Tarantino and PT Anderson, with whom he has worked, to discuss the effect and level of violence on film.

In response to the Aurora cinema shooting at the opening weekend of The Dark Knight Rises, Weinstein told Andrew Marr he wanted to find out if there is a detrimental, psychological knock-on from violence on screen.
