Sir John Major: Economy's 'darkest moment'

Former prime minister Sir John Major has said there are signs of a UK economic recovery such as falling unemployment and rising shares.

Although Sir John told Andrew Marr "recovery begins from the darkest moment," he believed the UK was past that moment and now on the "slow road to recovery".
