It's Christmas: Noddy Holder on Slade's eternal classic

It's almost 40 years since Slade released their festive anthem, Merry Christmas Everybody.

But the band's former lead singer Noddy Holder has insisted they have no plans to re-form and rerecord the hit.

"It's its own record and it's had its own life," he said.

"There isn't a day in the year when someone doesn't shout 'It's Christmas' at me. But I love it."
