Golden Globes: Daniel Day-Lewis wins best actor

Daniel Day-Lewis has won best actor in a drama at the Golden Globes for his role in the biopic Lincoln.

He was shortlisted alongside fellow Oscar candidates Denzel Washington and Joaquin Phoenix.

His acceptance speech followed a special appearance by former US president Bill Clinton.
