Michael Ball urges regional theatre support

A revival of circus musical Barnum is to play Chichester Festival Theatre's summer season, it has been announced.

The show will be performed in a temporary 1,400-seat auditorium in a park next door to the theatre while the main site is redeveloped.

Recent West End transfers from the theatre include Singin' in the Rain, Kiss Me Kate and Sweeney Todd.

Michael Ball, who played the demonic barber in Sweeney told the BBC's Tim Masters that it was vital to support regional theatre.
