BBC hit by staff walk out

BBC News and Sport output has been disrupted by a strike by members of the NUJ and technical union BECTU.

Staff walked out at midday for a 12 hour stoppage in dispute at the corporation's plans for some compulsory redundancies and treatment of staff.
