Will.i.am tries UK citizenship test questions
Will.i.am says his new album #willpower has been influenced by his time in Britain.
The musician said Britney Spears' British accent in his single Scream & Shout shows his "appreciation" for the UK.
He added that Spears replaced former X Factor judge Tulisa after she recorded a demo of the track.
Will.i.am has chosen a host of other collaborators for the album including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown and Nicole Scherzinger.
The 38-year-old, who is a coach on BBC talent show The Voice UK, also suggested he would like to move to Britain permanently.
"I wouldn't mind just living here [in the UK] and making music and entertaining," he said.
BBC News asked Will.i.am a few practice questions for the Life in the UK Test - which is required for settlement in the UK or British citizenship - including "what is the highest denomination banknote in England?"
