Lenny Henry on learning lines for his role in Fences
When Lenny Henry was cast as Othello a few years ago, his performance earned him rave reviews.
It was a far cry from the comedian who created over-the-top characters like Wildebeest and Delbert Wilkins.
Now, he's decided to return to drama once again, this time as the grizzled anti-hero in Fences by August Wilson, a play about black American family life.
He spoke to BBC Breakfast about getting into character, and being daunted by the "mountain of words" which he had to learn.
