Festival winner shows America's 'pimples'

Low-budget drama Fruitvale Station is gathering early momentum as an awards season contender.

It won a prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, adding to the accolades it earned when it was launched at Sundance in January.

The film is based on a real life incident - the fatal shooting of a young Californian man by a police officer in January 2009.
