Nashville's Hayden Panettiere on her dream role

Hayden Panettiere has grown up in the public eye - she took a starring role in the US soap One Life to Live when she was just six years old.

Since then she has barely been out of the spotlight, appearing in shows from Ally McBeal to A Bugs Life and the international TV hit Heroes.

Hayden is currently playing a scheming young diva in the country music drama Nashville and is about to release a single from the show.

She popped into BBC Breakfast's studio where she surprised presenter Charlie Stayt with her "bone crushing" powers.
