Actor Salman Khan is charged with culpable homicide

Bollywood star Salman Khan has been charged with culpable homicide by a court in Mumbai.

The case relates to a hit and run incident 10 years ago.

The actor is accused of driving a jeep which ran over a group of five homeless people who were sleeping on a pavement in Mumbai.

One person died in the incident.

Mr Khan denies the charges.
