Zimmer wins Classic Brit awards

Hans Zimmer has been named Composer of the Year and been rewarded for his contribution to music at the Classic Brit Awards.

The Gladiator composer described the double honour as "fabulous".

The pianist Lang Lang, Les Miserables star Samantha Barks, choirmaster Gareth Malone and tenor Jose Carreras were just some of the other musicians celebrating this year's awards at London's Royal Albert Hall.
