Grayson Perry: 'There's an awful lot of guff talked about art'

Artist Grayson Perry was commissioned to draw a series of pictures to illustrate his Reith Lectures on BBC Radio 4. Here he explains what they mean.

The first Reith lecture, in which Perry analyses the complex process of judging quality in contemporary art, will be broadcast in full on BBC Radio 4 on 15 October at 09:00 BST.

There will be a discussion of the lecture hosted by Will Gompertz, plus video highlights, on the accompanying live page. Join the discussion on Twitter using #Reith, external.
