Dave Prowse: 'Why I accepted the Star Wars role of Darth Vader'

Dave Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars films, has explained why he accepted the part of the legendary villain.

Prowse played the bodily form of Darth Vader in the first three Star Wars films. The character was then voiced by US stage and screen actor James Earl Jones.

Speaking to the BBC's Tanya Beckett, he said he accepted the iconic role because ''you always remember the bad guys.''
