Meet The Author: Judith Allnatt and Anna Hope

As 2014 marks the centenary of the start of World War One, scores of books are being published to mark the occasion.

Two of them are Wake by Anna Hope and The Moon Field by Judith Allnatt.

The Moon Field tells the story of young volunteers who signed up to go to war in 1914, what happened to them and the families left behind.

Wake looks at the aftermath of war, and is set around Armistice Day 1920 when the body of the unknown warrior was brought back from France for burial in Westminster Abbey.

The BBC's Nick Higham spoke to both authors about what influenced their novels.
