Billy Bragg plays tribute to Pete Seeger

Billy Bragg has paid tribute to the singer and activist Pete Seeger who died at the age of 94.

Seeger gained fame in The Weavers, formed in 1948, and continued to perform in his own right in a career spanning six decades.

Renowned for his protest songs, Seeger was blacklisted by the US Government in the 1950s for his leftist stance.

Billy Bragg was a young musician when he met him and stayed friends with him, playing at his 90th birthday.

Bragg spoke to BBC News about Seeger and played a tribute to him by singing Where Have All The Flowers Gone.
