Neneh Cherry on returning to the limelight

After nearly two decades away from the limelight, singer Neneh Cherry is back.

The 50-year-old, who won two Brit Awards in 1990, became famous for songs like Buffalo Stance and Manchild.

She is performing in Shoreditch on Wednesday night to promote her new album.

Cherry said it was the death of her mother three years ago that played a big part in her return to music.

Brenda Emmanus reports.
