Everyman Theatre looks to keep 'revolutionary' spirit

The Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, famous for launching the careers of actors including Bill Nighy and Julie Walters in the 1970s, is reopening this weekend.

The theatre, which celebrates its 50th anniversary later this year, has been redeveloped at a cost of £27m.

Matthew Kelly and Nicholas Woodeson told the BBC's Ian Youngs that the theatre had a reputation for being "political" and "revolutionary".
