A baby chimp is raised by humans in new novel

We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves is the latest novel from Karen Joy Fowler, the bestselling author of The Jane Austen Book Club.

It is based on a real life experiment where a husband and wife team of scientists tried to raise a baby chimp along with their own children.
