Anderson on returning to The Fall

Gillian Anderson has started filming the second series of the tense BBC2 thriller The Fall, reprising her role as tough Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson.

Anderson started work this week on the new six-part series, which is being filmed in Belfast. Her character is again on the trail of serial killer Paul Spector - played by Jamie Dornan, who also stars in the film version of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Anderson spoke about why The Fall is different to the majority of crime dramas.
