Lord of the Flies: Matthew Bourne's 'descent into savagery'

William Golding's classic novel Lord of the Flies has been adapted into a powerful new dance-theatre production by Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and Re:Bourne.

The production sees local boys dance alongside professional artists, following a national audition process.

Choreographed by Scott Amble, this version of the classic moves from a desert island to a deserted theatre.

BBC News spoke to Matthew Bourne and two members of his cast during rehearsals at The Lowry theatre in Salford.
