Leonardo DiCaprio's role as eco warrior

Leonardo DiCaprio has said he is going to give a seven million dollar donation to help clean up the world's oceans.

The Hollywood actor and environmentalist made the pledge as he addressed the US State Department's Our Ocean conference.

It coincided with President Barack Obama's announcement of new efforts to protect parts of the Pacific Ocean which are controlled by America.
