The Giver is the story of a young man in a dystopian world who realizes that he and his fellow citizens have been duped and he is determined to escape.
The film, which is based on the young adult bestseller of the same name, is being released in America in the waning days of blockbuster season with the hope that it will provide audiences with cinema that is quite different.
