Costner film Black and White debuts at Toronto Festival

Kevin Costner's new film Black and White has had its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In it, he plays a grieving widower, who is bringing up his granddaughter until her African American paternal grandmother tries to fight him for custody.

The actor put his own money into the film after approaching Hollywood Studios, but being unable to find anyone to finance it.
