Cleese: 'Python shows didn't excite me'

John Cleese reveals to BBC Breakfast why he wasn't excited by his recent Monty Python reunion shows in London.

Cleese who is famous for Fawlty Towers and Monty Python has been acting and performing for over half a century.

Shows in London marked the first time in 40 years that members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin appeared together on a UK stage.

Cleese has just released his first autobiography and joined BBC Breakfast to talk about the Python reunion and why he was so close to his mother.
