'Moon Symphony' inspired by Nasa space sounds

The Moon has been the inspiration for countless pieces of music and now a new work has been inspired by science.

Paul Gladstone Reid is the first ever composer in residence at Imperial College, London and has been working on a Cosmic Trilogy which begins with Moon Symphony.

Speaking to Martha Kearney on Radio 4's The World at One, Mr Gladstone Reid explained how scientific developments had helped him to develop the music.
