Caitlyn Jenner has highlighted the importance of "accepting people for who they are" in an acceptance speech at a sports awards event in Los Angeles.

The ESPY awards are organised by ESPN and recognise individual and team achievements from the world of sport.

Caitlyn Jenner was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
