Former Beatle Ringo Starr on why he is a fan of the selfie

Ringo Starr was not just playing drums through the heyday of the Beatles, he was also developing his skills as a photographer.

The work documenting his life and times in the world's biggest rock band is currently on display at the National Portrait Gallery.

The BBC's Brenda Emmanus was there to ask him about his photographs.
